- Contributed to a functional React/Node app within an agile team to continuously deliver quality, peer-reviewed code. Analyzed integrations with external services, proposed and documented recommended strategies to the development team.
Led a team in the development and maintenance of a microsite platform for internal Nike teams. - UI Engineer, User Experience
- Architected and presented the platform to marketing teams and agencies based on technological integration needs and internal clients’ strategy. Created demonstrations to present to leadership and the larger technological organization on the value of the product. Onboarded developers, content editors, and agencies on best use of the platform.
- An SSO-secure WordPress core, plus a suite of curated plugins, fueled a drag-and-drop interface for content editors to create responsive, consistently beautiful websites for an internal audience.
- Worked with leadership, designers, iOS engineers, and DevOps to create and iterate on a web-based companion app. The iOS app shared an API to mirror messaging, searching, user and content feeds, in-app image editing, and streaming media.
- Built on a frontend of Backbone.js, jQuery/javascript, Gulp, Bootstrap. Backend driven by Python, Django and Postgres on AWS.
- Led the ideation, development and maintenance of hundreds of major PETA sites, with impactful, eye-catching design for animal rights. Websites viewed by millions, with thousands of animals saved and grassroots activists supported while working across multiple tech stacks in a day. Website design & development, illustrations, email, and 3rd party site integrations. Worked on ASP, Visual Studio .NET, Wordpress, Sharepoint and more.
